Statement Of Faith

Church: In The Real is a Holy Spirit filled, non-denominational church. Our church is built on a foundation of fundamentalprinciples. When placed into practice, these foundational principlesproduce apostolic function that bring glory to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior who is the Chief Cornerstone of His Church. These foundational principles are:

* The Great Commission and Discipleship (Matthew 28: 18-20; Mark 16: 15-20).

* The perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4: 11-16).

* The establishment and advancement of the Kingdom of God (Mark 1: 15; John 14: 12-14; 1 Peter 2: 9).

What We Believe

We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible given by the Holy Spirit, infallible, and God's revealed word to man.

We believe in only one true and living God eternally existing in three persons-namely, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as Intercessor.

We believe that man is a sinful being in need of redemption. That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.

We believe that justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

We believe in sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, through the Word, and by the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit subsequent to a clean heart.

We believe in speaking with other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit.

We believe in water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the nine gifts and the nine fruits of the Spirit as taught in the New Testament and healing is provided for all through the sufferings of Christ.

We believe in the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked; the righteous to eternal life and the wicked without Christ to eternal damnation.
